Joe Schatz
The beauty, the mystery, the grandeur of nature; these are the things that Joe strives to capture in his photographs. An engineer by training, he is skilled in the science of Photography and since high school has practiced the art of Photography. He has traveled and photographed many of America's natural wonders ranging from Acadia in the North to Monument Valley and Canyonlands in the Southwest.
His work has been exhibited at the Tsongas Gallery at Walden Pond, the Weston Library, the Owens Smith Shuman Gallery at the Groton Library, and the Concord Libraryl, as well as published in the local press. Joe has volunteered his photographic skills with local youth and church groups. He is the winner of first place in the Acton 250th Anniversary Photographic competition.
Joe is a member of North American Nature Photographers and the Sudbury Valley Nature Photographers.
